Day 01 - Cochin - Thekkady ( Periyar)
Arrive Cochin – pick up from Air port/Railway station. Travel to Thekkady (Periyar). And halt at hotel.
Day 02 & 3 - Thekkady – Periyar Tiger Reserve
After break fast (8.30am) 2night/3day Adventure Trekking and tent camping inside the tiger reserve. Adventure Trekking and tent camping :The Periyar Tiger Reserve is one of the most prestigious regions on the high ranges of the Western Ghat one of the world’s most fascinating natural wild life sanctuaries. The Periyar Tiger Reserve is noted for its geomorphology diverse wild life and beautiful land scape. Periyar is the only Tiger reserve in Kerala having a viable population of around 40 Tigers which remains as one of the most important contiguous rain forest bruding sites in the entire Western Ghats Tiger is found in type of habitats but the density is much less in the evergreen forests Trekking through the Tigers territory 40 kilometers close watch to animal habitat and nature. One may have chance to encounter much wild life like Neelgiri languor, Giant squirrel, Elephant, Bison, Deer, Birds and trek route passes through hills and valley with a variety of tropical plants and wide open spaces. The programme is started from 8.30 am normally 20 to 35 Km are trekked in a day groups are accompany by armed forest guards including 5 guides and 2 officials with good communication equipments and geared to face any emergency situation. Tent, guides, security guards, food, camping gear, sleeping bag, torch light, mineral water will also be provided. Visitors should be serious nature lovers willing to sacrifice some of the luxuries and comfort of a hotel and ready to accept the different moods of Mother Nature misty mountains bright sunshine gurgling streams, thundering showers…
Day 04 - Thekkady ( Periyar)
12 noon return from the tiger reserve. Check in Hotel. Ayuvedic full body massage. Halt at Thekkady.
Day 05 - Thekkady – Alleppy (House Boat)
After break fast proceed to proceed to Alleppy. Check in to the House boat and stay.Alleppy is one of well known tourist destination in Kerala. An enchanting backwater destination, Alleppy offers visitors many other leisure options. Boating and fishing facilities are available at the Tourist retreats in Alleppy. House Boat A cruise along the palm-fringed water ways of Kerala in a luxury house boat is the most enchanting holiday experience. You will skim past ancient Chinese fishing nets, water lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples and coconut groves.
Day 06 - Alleppy - Cochin
After break fast drop at Cochin airport / railway station..
